Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Rose Travels, we understand that plans may change. This policy outlines when and how cancellations and refunds are processed.
A. Cancellation by Customer
1. Local Trips (Within City – e.g., 8 hours/80 km packages)

2. Outstation / Multi-Day Trips

3. Hourly / Airport / Wedding / Event Packages
Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: 100% refund (less applicable fees)
Cancellation between 24–48 hours: 50% refund
Cancellation less than 24 hours: No refund
Special event packages (weddings, festivals, etc.) may have non-refundable advance deposits. This will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
B. Cancellation by Rose Travels
If Rose Travels cancels a booking due to vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, or operational issues, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days.
If cancellation is due to force majeure (natural disasters, floods, strikes, pandemics, government orders, etc.), we will offer either:
A full refund, OR
A credit voucher valid for 6 months for future travel (your choice).
We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur (e.g., alternate travel arrangements, hotel cancellations).
C. Partial Cancellations & Modifications
Reducing trip duration or vehicle type: Treated as a cancellation of the original booking. Applicable cancellation charges may apply.
Changing pickup time or date: If requested more than 12 hours in advance, we will try to accommodate at no extra charge (subject to availability). Less than 12 hours may incur a fee of up to 25% of the booking amount.
Dropping passengers or cutting trip short mid-journey: No refund for unused hours or kilometers.
D. Refund Process & Timeline
Refunds are processed only to the original payment method (UPI, bank transfer, cash, etc.).
For digital payments (UPI, bank transfer): Refunds are initiated within 3–5 business days after cancellation approval. Depending on your bank, it may take 5–10 additional days to reflect.
For cash payments: Refunds will be made via bank transfer or UPI (you must provide valid account details). Cash refunds are not available at the time of cancellation.
Payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable.
Advance payments are refundable only as per the above schedule.
E. No-Refund Situations
No refund will be issued in the following cases:
Customer does not show up at the scheduled pickup time and location.
Customer cancels after the trip has already begun.
Customer is asked to end the trip early due to violation of Terms & Conditions (e.g., misbehavior, illegal activities, vehicle damage).
Delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances (no refund or discount for lost time).
Customer provides incorrect pickup or contact details, resulting in failed service delivery.

G. Special Circumstances (Medical / Emergency)
In case of a genuine medical or family emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. While our standard cancellation policy applies, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial refund or credit voucher on a case-by-case basis. Documentation (e.g., hospital admission note) may be requested.
