Service Delivery Policy
At Rose Travels, we provide cab and transport services. We do not ship any physical goods. This policy explains how and when our services are delivered to you.
1. Nature of Service
Rose Travels offers passenger transportation services using cars, cabs, and other vehicles.
No physical products are shipped or delivered.
The service is considered “delivered” when the vehicle arrives at the designated pickup location and the trip begins.
2. Service Delivery Location
The service is delivered at the customer’s chosen pickup location as confirmed at the time of booking.
The pickup location must be specific, accurate, and accessible (e.g., full address, landmark, or GPS pin).
Any change to the pickup location must be communicated at least 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time. Additional charges may apply if the new location is significantly farther.
3. Booking Confirmation
Booking confirmation is shared via call, WhatsApp, or SMS after the advance payment (if required) is received or the booking is verified.
A unique Booking Reference Number will be provided. Please keep this number for any future communication.
Without a confirmed booking and reference number, service delivery is not guaranteed.
4. Driver & Vehicle Details
Before the trip begins, you will receive the following details via WhatsApp or SMS:
Driver’s name and phone number
Vehicle number (registration plate)
Vehicle model and color (if available)
These details are typically shared 30–60 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
If you do not receive driver details within 30 minutes of your scheduled pickup, please contact Rose Travels customer support immediately.
5. Pickup & Waiting Time
For Local Trips (Hourly/Kilometer Packages)
The driver will arrive at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
A grace period of up to 15 minutes is allowed for customer delays beyond the scheduled pickup time.
After the grace period, waiting charges may apply at the rate of [e.g., ₹X per 30 minutes] or as communicated at booking.
If the customer does not show up within 30 minutes without intimation, the trip may be considered a “no-show” (no refund as per cancellation policy).
For Outstation / Airport Trips
The driver will arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Waiting time up to 30 minutes is generally included. Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.
For airport pickups, drivers track flight landings and adjust waiting time accordingly (free waiting up to 60 minutes from actual landing time).
6. Service Completion
The service is considered fully delivered when:
The vehicle reaches the final drop-off location as per the booking, OR
The package duration or distance limit is exhausted (whichever comes first for limited packages), OR
The customer ends the trip earlier than planned.
Once the service is delivered, no refund or credit applies for unused time or distance unless covered under a separate written agreement.
7. Customer Responsibilities at Delivery
To ensure smooth service delivery, the customer agrees to:
Be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
Provide a safe and legal pickup/drop-off point (no restricted or no-stopping zones unless approved).
Carry valid ID proof if required for outstation or interstate travel.
Inform Rose Travels immediately if the driver or vehicle details do not match the information shared.
8. Service Delivery Delays (By Rose Travels)
We strive to deliver on time. However, if a delay is caused by Rose Travels (e.g., driver arrives more than 30 minutes late due to operational error), we will:
Inform you as soon as possible, and
Offer a discount or credit on your next booking (amount at our discretion).
Refunds are not provided for delayed delivery unless the delay exceeds 60 minutes and the customer chooses to cancel the trip. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
9. Delays Outside Our Control
Rose Travels is not liable for service delivery delays caused by:
Traffic congestion, road closures, or accidents
Weather conditions (heavy rain, fog, storms)
Government checkpoints, bandhs, or roadblocks
Vehicle breakdown (rare – we will try to send an alternate cab as soon as possible)
Incorrect or incomplete pickup address provided by the customer
No refund or compensation is provided for such delays.
10. Service Not Delivered (Customer Fault)
If service is not delivered because of the customer’s actions or inaction (e.g., wrong address, unreachable phone number, customer not present at pickup), the trip will be treated as a no-show, and:
No refund will be issued.
A cancellation charge equal to the full booking amount may apply.
11. Service Not Delivered (Rose Travels Fault)
In the rare event that Rose Travels fails to deliver the service entirely (no vehicle arrives, no communication), you are entitled to:
A full refund of any amount paid, OR
A free rescheduled trip of equal value (subject to availability)
To claim this, you must contact us within 24 hours of the missed service and provide your booking reference number.
12. Mid-Trip Service Interruptions
If the vehicle breaks down or meets with an accident during the trip:
Rose Travels will attempt to send a replacement vehicle as soon as possible.
If a replacement is not available within a reasonable time (usually 60–90 minutes), you may cancel the remaining trip and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion.
No additional compensation is provided for inconvenience, alternate travel arrangements, or missed appointments.
13. Special Delivery Instructions
If you have special delivery requirements (e.g., multiple pickup/drop points, luggage assistance, waiting at intermediate stops), these must be mentioned at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply.
Requests made after the trip has started may be accommodated at the driver’s discretion and may incur extra fees.
